I have the Platinum Hits version of Mass Effect and I have the same problem. I'm not going to rebuy BDTS when I already have it.
Bioware, can you please fix this? _________________ The measure of an individual can be difficult to discern by actions alone. |

The details on this link seem to be accurate. Click Here I expect a quick fix from Bioware for the platinum hits conflict, though the definition of "quick" depends on how often Bioware checks these forums, which I've had doubts about in the past (locked achievements *cough*). |

I have platinum hits, and it's not working for me either. Is it to much to ask for BOTH DLCs with out paying MORE money? You think someone would have checked this BEFORE releasing it. The new DLC is filled with wank and fail. |

I had to do just that. Buy the BDTS DLC when I already had it on the Platinum Hits Disc. Seriously, does anyone at MS test these things out?
Pinnacle Station is worth $5, but it's not worth the $10 I had to pay just to play the damn thing with my level 57 dude that was a 2/3 of the way through my second play through on, hardcore difficulty i think it is. This kind of s*** is just ridiculous. I think MS owes me 400 pts.Edited By dargis49 on 08/26/09 00:51 |

Oh, I'm going to call so I can get a refund. |

You're gonna have to. I know, it sucks. But its only a 5 dollar loss. Nothing to sweat over.
Still, I was very mad.
Only a $5 loss? Nothing to sweat over? SCREW THAT. I already paid my $5, and I expect a working product for it. Not a buggy piece of junk that requires another $5 purchase to make it work. The only acceptable remedies here are receiving a refund for the purchase of content that doesn't work, or release a patch VERY QUICKLY. And if Bioware wants to keep any of their customers in the future, they'd be wise to do both because this is complete BS. I know that I for one am not going to be lining up to buy Mass Effect 2 or anything else from this company if they can't even be assed to test their DLC before they release it.
Word Up. |

This post is going to be short and sweet since I don't have much information at this point.
We're looking into this issue at the moment and are working to resolve it as quickly as we can.
I don't have an ETA for a fix as of yet. |

I deleted my platinum hits "bring down the sky" and Pinnacle Station showed up. However, I can't load my save because it says that I need BDTS... So, I install BDTS from the disc again, and again Pinnacle Station is gone... THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's no way I'm going to pay for the non-platinum hits BDTS since I already have it. I'm pissed!
I did. You're gonna have to. I know, it sucks. But its only a 5 dollar loss. Nothing to sweat over. Still, I was very mad. It's a big deal when you have to drive to the damn store to buy MS points just to play the game you just got DLC for. |

All I know is, I BETTER be getting a refund though.
I paid for BDtS, I shouldn't of had to pay twice.
I'm starting to realize that it IS a big deal. |

Yeah, I actually registered just to complain that BioWare seemed completely asleep at the wheel on this. Glad to at least see someone poke their head in and let us know that they're working on it.
Good thing I just picked up GTA4:TLAD at the same time, I have something else to work on while I wait for Pinnacle Station to be fixed. |

I don't have an ETA for a fix as of yet. Glad to hear that you guys are aware and working on it already at least. Try to test these things BEFORE releasing them next time, though. If I have to test your games for you, I want a salary and a nice benefits package.

Great, thanks for the update, looking forward to it.
Guys, this is probably an issue with the platinum/classics disc installer and not the new dlc - while IMO this is the kind of Bug That Really Shouldn't Happen(tm), these do happen, and as usual, giving the developer a chance to fix their stuff is always the best way forward |

There's a topic on GameFAQs that says Pinnacle Station won't show up if you have the Platinum Hits version of Bring Down the Sky, and the only way to access it is to start a new career.
I don't know if there's any truth to it, but I do know it's a problem a lot of people are having.
Here's the topic: Click Here
