Dev posted in that thread that it's NOT a bug, just a very hard mission. Insanity makes it nearly impossible to complete due to the time it takes to kill enemies on Insanity.

I have the PH edition and mine will not work ethier. This is crazy. First, they dont announce news on the DLC at all, then it leaks info all over the place and they refuse to comment, and now I buy the said DLC and I cant even run it and its been out for over 10 hours. I dont care about the crap reveiws its getting because I love the game so much and am happy with just about anything I can get for it, but this problem is just leaving a horrible taste in my mouth. Fix this guys. Please, im trying to keep the faith here but your making it harder and harder. |

Either wait for a patch, or do what I did and will do-
Delete the BDtS you got from the Platinum hits.
Go to the marketplace and buy BDtS for 400 points.
Then call Microsoft, explain what happened, and get a refund. |

Everybody knows that the Microsoft customer service is horrific, spending an hour on the phone trying to get a refund that isnt guarenteed to somebody who can barely speak english is not on!
Why should I go out of pocket because BioWare couldnt be bothered to check their DLC before releasing it?
This should get patched asap, its a disgrace. |

Okay, so the thing is it is 2:00 EST, the Dlc has been out for almost 2 days with NO offical statment, NO patch, NO refund from Microsoft ( I screamed for an hour and after 5 tranfers and I hung up). Bioware, this is flat out unnaceptable. You guys play games. Would you SERIOUSLY want to go through this with your favorite game? Give me something to go off of here. If nothing else make Bring Down The Sky free and then we can all circumvent the problem for free. I refuse to pay for BDTS a second time. |

I thought I posted this in another thread, but here it is in this one:
We're working on the issue right now. There is no ETA for a fix just yet, we're trying to get this sorted ASAP.
There's not a whole lot more information I have available at the moment. |

Thanks for the update. I feel a little bit better knowing that another company was responsible for this blunder now. I would think it is safe to say now though that I wouldn't do business with these guys again. Esp. another DLC. I am not one of these fan boys that is going to threaten not to play ME2 or bad mouth you guys. Your human, you make mistakes. I would ask though if there is a more thought out DLC plan for ME2 like they are talking for DA:0. If there is it wont include the clowns behind this fiasco. |

I have platinum as well and just dld pinnacle station. I knew in my gut that if I dld it while playing mass effect it wouldnt work and look what happened, it didnt work. I think dling it while playing ME was the problem for me. Anyone else play ME or another game and this happened to them while dling?
Also I installed ME to the hard drive. Could be another reason why it doesnt work. Ill update if I can get it working...probably not but I gotta try.
Edit: Never mind reinstalling bdts made pinnacle disappear again

We talked to microsoft quite a bit today, they were able to reproduce the issue and it looks like something that's nearly impossible to catch until it happens.
They're working on a fix at the moment, but I still do not have an ETA. |
