Exclusives are a dying tread. Everybody in the console war is losing an exclusive at some point.

i doubt this will happen. i mean what's the point of releasing the second game on a console that didnt get the first?
then again, xbox is getting metal gear solid at some point :/

But now you will make yourself suffer just to send a message of hate to SONY (indirectly). If you hate SONY that much, I have to ask why? Looking at this clearly, it's like shooting yourself because john gave paul some money. No one was negatively effected (e.g. SONY, MS, BioWare, EA), just you. BioWare/EA will make up for your sale with all of the new PS3 owners clamouring for the game.
So go ahead, buy the game and enjoy. no need for self mutilation.
i dont hate sony i own a ps3, I just want my main console remain in a good postion i dont want to make my ps3 my main console in future all my friend/achievements status will be worthles with no people playing xbox360. so the only way i can stop this if we (360 owners who have the same feeling as me) stop support the developers
i can see where you are coming from pal but..
dont you think there are more important things in life to stress over? you will actually find no one is really bothered what you play, as long as you are happy then thats all that matters. |

On Poznań Game Arena 2009 (some polish gaming event) Jay Watamaniuk said that ME2 will be "probably" released for PS3. And then he declined to comment on that. And that's all the news. |

Do people even believe in "accidental" information leaks these days? Jay Watamaniuk is not stupid and if he mentions "probable" PS3 version, he knows exactly what he is doing.
Oh well, we have been through this with PC version of Mass Effect 1 and its getting old real fast...  |

There is a report circulating today based on an appearance I made in Poland yesterday. Seems there was a misunderstanding about ME2 coming to PS3.
Let me clarify today: ME2 is coming to PC and X360 only. Look for them both on Jan 26 in NA and Jan 29 in Europe.

Why are you against competition? Free market makes games/consoles cheaper. Sony even have to subsidize their PS3 to make them attractive to consumers. And M$ is definately not on the edge of bankruptsy. Don't be blind fanboy whose loyalty good only for corporate managers

Why does it have to be a 360 exclusive? Microsoft already buys out all the PS3 exclusives in a pathetic attempt to compete. Who is seriously going to buy Tekken 6 on the 360 when it's made to be played on the PS3. |

PS3 is damn annoying to code for, so no matter how much sony try and tempt future developers, most just dont want the hassle... same with dragon age, kudos to bioware for brining out on ps3, but its obivious there not 100% about it, otherwise it would have same release date

This thread is not for fighting about platform supremacy. There was a rumor about PS3 due to a misunderstanding with Jay during his Polish visit. He stopped in and clarified his message.
As he said above, Mass Effect 2 is for the PC and Xbox 360 only.
No fighting here.
