If it had 3 bonus DVD's, there'd be no game in that package.(/quote) Yeah theres a game its in the box and it says bonus dvds.(/quote) No if you look at TWO of the discs, they have a similar label, those look like TWO GAME DISCS and the description says BONUS DISC, as in singular, as in One bonus disc, "do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?" Well yeah theres two discs they confermed it. |

Ok some details for you.
1 - Yes, there are 2 game discs for both the PC and Xbox 360 versions, both the Collector's and standard editions.
2 - There is a 3rd disc with the Collector's Edition. This is a movie DvD containing making of and other bonus information.
3 - The PC version is a standard install. You install the information from both discs and then play with 1 disc in the drive. No swapping.
4 - You can install the game to your Xbox 360 Hard Drive as long as you have enough memory to do so and have the correct disc in the drive when you play.
5 - Even though there is a disc swap, it occurs at a carefully planned place in the game (that does not interfere with gameplay) and is done once. You do not swap back and forth. 1 swap and then done.
6 - Why 2 discs? Answer: Because you cannot fit this much awesome on one disc.
Hope this helps.
Edit: Changed point 4 as I had the wrong info initially.

Every time I get a new game I'll be playing for a while, I download it to my hard drive, and once I stop playing it for a good amount of time, take it off.
That way, disk doesn't spin, and there's plenty of room in the hard drive for the game to fit. |

well that's the collector edition so who knows? If there are two disks hopefully one is simply an install disc and the other is the actual game disk. Having two game disks would be a hassle and annoying in a non-linear story line(you wanna go here? please put in disc 2. you wanna go back? please reinsert disc 1). Other wise it would have to go against one of the main points of Mass Effect (making most of your own choices) and say you can to do this up until this point and once put disc 2 in its lost forever.
so in summary: option 1: could be anything considering its the collector's edition option 2: 1 install disc 1 game disc(my guess) option 3: repetitive and annoying disc switching and waiting for discs to read option 4: limited non-linearity( <1% chance in my opinion)
