In the KOTOR games when you arrived at a planet you were in the Ebon Hawk. Since you won't be able to simply park the Normandy on a landing pad you will obviously take a shuttle to the planet's surface. So will you be able to wander around on the Normandy and talk to the crew or will it be where you just see a galactic map, select a destination and show up in the landing shuttle on the planet surface.

It has been said there are many areas of the Normandy that are accessable. And when you walk by random nameless crewmembers will salute their Commander.

Where did you find this out, I havent read that. That would be wicked awesome if it was true, though.

Why only 2? 3 would be much better . Bridge/communications/galaxy map top floor, crew quarters/mess hall/anything else crew related second floor, engineering/etc. 3rd floor.

Sounds perfect!
If the Normandy is fun to hang around, and you can walk around in it in space. I will probably spend a lot of time in it, just for fun.

Same here, even though we havent been shown much of it I can already tell that I am just going to walk around it for hours just talking to random people and just stare at walls, etc.

Yep, there is something I love about spaceships. It was one of my favorite parts about Unreal 2 and KOTOR. Even though you could walk in it in space with KOTOR.

Since you won't be able to simply park the Normandy on a landing pad ...

Who says? The Normandy is capable of landings if needed. It usually makes more sense in a known hostile environment to drop downteh MAKO, but if things are peaceful, why not just land and dock?

It's quotes like this that make Dev team cry.
