Mass Effect Delayed

It seems retailers have started emailing all their customers who have preordered Bioware's Mass Effect.
Mass Effect has been delayed for a total of over 8 months now, but the latest delay seems like a strategic move, opposed to the previous delays which required more time for the games development.
Mass Effect has not had a huge delay and will be released December 7th 2007.

1. It never had a solid release date in Novemember anyway.
2. Even if that is true, which it isnt, thats like a 17 day delay, wow.

You know that isn't a reliable source because of the "it's been delayed for over 8 months now" line.
The first official release date BW ever gave out was November. So there's no way for it to have been "delayed" 8 months before that. No matter what EBGames or Amazon.com claimed.

In what way would a 17 day delay benefit them?

Nope not delayed. We will still be releaing in November and will have more details as to exactly when, when they are ready to be discussed.
