Microsoft Game Studios and BioWare Corp. have announced Mass Effect will ship to retailers throughout North America on November 20, 2007. Also, five new screenshots were posted at the official Mass Effect gallery today.

Great News.
One question...
since this was the official press release I was hoping to see mention of a possible Limited Edition. That's typically where I have seen official mention of it in the past. Since that was not the case does that mean there will be no limited edition or there are things yet to be finalized? |

We are still working out the details about a collector's edition and all that jazz. We don't have any info yet, but we'll let you know if/when we do. Stay tuned.

Great news for NA peeps.
But how about Europe?
There have been enough rumours flying around of a 7th December date (Yup, I know. Rumours. Not official. I ain't stoopid =B ), but I was kinda hoping, having heard the news of the release date being announced, that we'd know more about when the UK and EU are gonna get their grubby mits on it...
Any news on that, guys? =/ |

Wow! Its been a long time comming. I remember after playing Kinghts of the old republic for the 10th time going on Bioware sight to see if they were going to make any more star wars games, and just happened to stumble on their new project..Mass Effect, caught me right away...that was I say about a year and a half ago and now the release date is hear!!!! And landing a day before the holidays!!! NO SLEEP once it hits my 360!!!!

Oh this is great! Is it me, or is there suddenly a tidal wave of new info and features? And worst of it is that the only thing it did was make me want to play ME even more 
And I assume, as it is with most 360 games, that Europe gets the game around the same time, only then Friday (the 23rd), which is the common release day here.
