It took us a little extra time to nail down the Australian release date but we can now finally confirm that Mass Effect will be on store shelves in Australia on Novemebr 22 2007.
Chris, are you sure? Yes I'm sure.
Chris, are you serious? Yes, I'm serious.
How can you guarantee this Priestly? Well, hows about I come to Australia personally to do a press tour in Sydney Oct 15-18 to show off the coolness that is Mass Effect?
Good, because I am flying to Australia this Tuesday for that very reason. While there, I'll be visiting with our Pandemic studio in Brisbane and stopping in to see some relatives, but I will definately be in Sydney from the 15th to 18th to show off Mass Effect to the Aussie press.
Who knows, maybe I can even meet up with some of our Aussie BioWare fans for a small drink or something. Anyone going to be in Sydney the evening of the 18th?

Awesome news, although I highly suspected the date because Microsoft said something along those lines. Any chance of you coming to Western Australia Chris?

Man that is really cool, I was hoping that the Aussie release date would be close to the US, but I honestly didn't expect to get such a close date. To bad you won't be in Adelaide, but C'est la vie.

Chris, is there a specific event/expo that you'll be showing off the ME goodness? I know that the Melbourne eGame expo is on during the dates you've specified but I'm not aware of anything in Sydney at that time. |

Thanks for the release, is there any particular reason for it being on the 22nd? as it fits between the US and Europe dates which seems a bit odd.
Also is there anyway you could swing by the Western side? We're much more sophisticated and have nicer accents |

Yes i am serious. Maybe we can organise a couple other fans and all go out for a huge feed. It'd be great to hear some stories that you've had at your time with Bioware.
