	I am one of the lucky ones who found copy of ME at a certain retail store early Friday afternoon and was able to purchase it even though the cashier read the Do not sell before selling. Do check my gamer tag "twin warrior" if you don't believe me. Unlike some other people who planned to sell on eBay, I drove straight home from the store listening to JiveDJs remix at full blast and constantly looking at the box to see if that was actually Mass Effect in my hands. I've played for about 6 hours straight. I'm not posting any spoilers but I thought I would write my impressions and answer some non-plot related questions as I am one of the first few "regular" people to play the retail copy. First of, I have to say that this is by far the best game I have ever played (been playing video games for about 15 years). The graphics are stunning on a big screen plasma screen and the soundtrack is as good as, if not better than the visuals. The combat is very fun accessible and you can play however you want. I'm playing as an Infiltrator and the first few hours felt just like Gears of War and I never had to use the combat pause. For a certain fight later on, which was fairly difficult, I used the talent wheel and still the combat flowed fairly smoothly. Taking cover is pretty simple as you just run up in combat mode to an object and automatically go into cover. I know some reviews were iffy on the combat but I felt it was just as good as Gears if not better. The dialogue system was a little awkward for the first few minutes but after that it became natural. As someone who's played KOTOR and Jade Empire fully at least a dozen times, I can't help but feel that ME's dialogue scheme has made those two games unplayable for me. The game ran very smoothly and there no freezes. In all, even after following this game for nearly 1.5 years and coming to this site multiple times everyday, ME has exceeded all of my expectations. Before today, I like most of you was counting down the days till the 20th and know how hard that is. Though I might seem lucky, I am worse of than most you because I can't play much more until Wed because of exams even though the disc is sitting in front of me, but if anyone has any non-plot related questions about the game, I'll be happy to answer them as I'll be on this site frequently during my study breaks.

	Err, what about the people who don't care about spoilers and want to know more? Could I send you plot-spoiler questions by PM? Even though I've played it, too, I imagine playing it at home, comfortably, in a relatively quiet atmosphere is even better than playing it at a games expo. 	how long till bio locks this because theyre pissed? and please, dont get me wrong im not trying to be one of those jerks that love to come into threads like this and say- "3-2-1 lockdown" that drives me battey!!! anyways, i just wonder how strict MS and bio is going to be about the streetdate, does anyone know if its perhaps a, "buy it when u see it" or a halo like deal. anyways, cheers bro, have fun. _________________ ILLUSION MICHAEL!!! 	Congratulations! Thanks for the impressions and the offer of some Q&A. I think the best non-spoiler info to get right now is up-to-date information on the different classes and talents. 	Yes I did purchase it legally and I don't plan on posting any spoilers whatsoever so please don't lock this. I know how hard it is to wait these last few days and thought I could help make it a little bit easier by answering some non-plot related questions to make the time go by faster.

Also, I think I leveled up or modified the Normandy's weapons or some other stat when I was outside it and pushed A on it but I don't remember exactly what it was.

It's kind of like what God's voice sounds like in tv shows like the Simpsons but you really need to experience it yourself to get the full effect. I personally liked the elcor's voice the best but am not going to describe it in detail because that would ruin it.

Were those the Pistol and Sniper Rifle talents, or does the Infiltrator talent (Just called Infiltrator) itself boost all those? I know the Sentinel talent boosts pistols. Uh, sorry. 	If you think your doing me a favor by telling me more about Mass Effect, your not. Every time I think about it, it makes the wait longer and longer yet I keep coming back for more. My question is do you use the other weapons beside sniper and pistol even though your not proficient in them. P.S: Congrats on getting it early. You've convinced me to try to go looking for it in other shops in case they make the same mistake.
