This is because the one on the codex is concept art, differing from the more recent model of the batarians. _________________ tinman888 |

Come on Chris, this codex only contains information that we already knew. Now now, I doubt Chris wrote the piece. The grammar's too good. He must of gotten one of the writers to put it together.
We could ask Mr. Priestly to go beat that writer with a stick until he writes a more informative piece though. _________________ I did it all for the Wookies!Edited By garyfitz on 03/08/08 06:53 |

Actually i don't recall the in-game codex mentioning that civilians are confined to their home planet. All it talked about was their history and government. |

We already know that from an interview with Casey Hudson by IGN so it doesn't count as new information.
Here's what Casey told us:
Casey Hudson: "Batarian society is based on a very isolationist government, which strictly controls the movements of its citizens and information flow to and from their home planet." http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/854/854699p2.html _________________ Mass Effect 1200/1200, Lost Odyssey 1100/1100 Embrace your pain. Befriending a Bataraian and later recruiting (him/her) into the squad would be very interesting to have in the upcoming sequels. |
