Nunc est bibendum!

Thanks for the update. In all honesty, these specs seem pretty moderate.

Breath is officially baited now for the release.

Thanks for the info.

The specs seem very doable, just one question:

Is the 2.6ghz (intel) based on a single or a dual-core processor (does the game support dual core at all by the way?)

Sweet. I'll be able to run that no problem. Though the 12GB required space does confirm my suspicion that the Unreal 3 engine is bloatware when it comes to hard drive space. I suspected with the UT3 and Gears of War installs taking up so much, and this pretty much confirms it.

Awesome, thanks. You guys really did a good job getting those requirements pretty low. Color me surprised. My processors not quite at recommended, but close enough for an AMD 2.2. Everything else exceeds so I don't think it will be a problem at all. Thanks again.

Are these Shader 3.0 only cards? Could a hardware expert please comment on this?

My ATi X800 Pro is only Shader 2.0, and I have a bad feeling it will not run the game at all.

Thanks.

There is no chance that a Shader 2.0 Card will be able to run it.

According to Tom's Hardware my X800 Pro is two tears above the X1300... but the X1300 comes with Shader 3.0 (just checked that).

So BioWare did not get an render path update from Epic Games, one that was used in UT3, to make the game run on Shader 2.0 only cards.

No MEPC for me then... that's the way it goes.

U can get a good Sm 3.0 card for cheap man. Sell the old one on e-bay.

My one will run it but for clarification. You are talking about Single Core not dual core processors?

If the game can't run on anything below 2.6Ghz with dual-core CPUs then they've severely crippled their install base. The 2.66Ghz Core2Duo models are the most sold ones.

At last! Thanks for finally clearing that up, Jay. Since my rig is only 7 months old, featuring an E6750, 2 gigs RAM, 500GB HD and a 8800 GTS 640MB, I believe I will have no significant issues...

Thanks for the info. My machine is very close to the minimum requirements (Intel Pentium 4 Northwood 2.8GHz, single core but HyperThreading capable; 1GB RAM; Geforce 6800 128MB AGP, not GT; except the video card which is only 2.5 year old, it's 4 year old machine ), I hope it's capable to run MEPC around 20 FPS with ultra low settings.
