One thing I never knew I could do until a recent play through
Is on Noveria, after you break into the house and have to kill the security.
You can go talk to the Chief of Security and 'explain' yourself.
I went paragon, and she understands that dirty cops are dirty cops. And warned them to not get into it. |

Didn't know about the Opold quest one, I'll have to try that sometime. I guess Noveria is just full of surprises.

It is the most low down thing he can do. The security chief comes up afterwards after looking at the bodies and Shepherd acts like he has NO IDEA what happened. Low down.
I believe you can select an option in which Shepard actually gives the chief the play-by-play. Not accepting responsibility, mind you - Shep claims he/she didn't expect Anoleis to get violent - but denying knowledge of the events is just one of the possible lead-ins to Matsuo's excellent parting line. ("If you'll excuse me, the death of an executive must always be filed in triplicate."  )

I did that before, but I never got that reaction.
I have done this option and missed the fight with the Krogan as well. But this is because I always left for Peak 15 before going to the Normandy. Go to the Normandy directly after telling opold you're keeping the package. Or, you can go to Peak 15 and after it automatically returns you inside the Normandy you can go back outside to Noveria, and they should be waiting there for you. |

I've only done this once and I don't know how I did it - I'm sure this is old news to some. After the first conversation with Captain Ventralis on Noveria when the Rachni come out of the vents, only one bug emerged (instead of the usual 2 - we killed it) but the second one never came and everyone was just standing there with their guns drawn waiting.
Thinking it was a glitch I got in the elevator went down and came back up again. Ventralis was back waiting in the middle when I got back up and then said very sarcastically "thanks for the help there" to which I was able to respond "if you can't handle something like that on your own you're in big trouble" (Something to that effect)
I've never had that happen again. |

I have been playing a lot of Dragon Age, but ME keeps drawing me back. I bought the Steam version for convenience and have all the DLC installed. All set for another playthrough. |

I first talked to Opold and got the package. Told Opold I'm going to keep it. Then I talked to the Krogan, who offered me a better price than Opold. I told him to give me more and rejected his second offer. It's not possible to negotiate with him after that.
After this I told Andoleis about the smuggling deal and convinced him, I can keep the package (don't know if that part is important, tough).
When going back to the normandy BEFORE leaving with the mako, the krogan attacked me. |

I never had intimidate high enough to do this before:
On Feros you can intimidate Jong and get him to back down and cover for the folks on Feros and they get more money from ExoGeni, this is instead of you shooting him which happens most times.Edited By snowboarder75 on 11/15/09 00:46 |
