I've only just discovered that Green Ronin are making a pen & paper RPG of Dragon Age which looks wonderful! I wonder if something similar might be done for Mass Effect somewhere down the line? It's a great universe and it would allow for great roleplaying! Edited By AudioEpics on 10/29/09 12:13 |

I think the best way to answer your question would be to direct you to the website for the Dragon Age pen&paper RPG:

Take a look at the FAQ there. I hope you find this link interesting!Edited By AudioEpics on 10/29/09 15:02 |

This is a great idea. It just needs someone with a good amount of tabletop gaming experience to help smooth it out. |

If your experience is that tabletop games are boring, you've probably had a bad GM (with all due respect). I love videogames but I still prefer the tabletop.
Is it like Warhammer? I assume you mean the battlegame. Well, no... Although you can use miniatures but they are optional. It's a storytelling game, in a way, where one player provides the setting and the situations and the other players take the role of characters, deciding what they do. |

I hate table top games like Dungeons and Dragon. Not Monopoly and Scrabble. And what the hell is a GM? _________________ There is no 'ctrl' button on Chuck Norris's computer. Chuck Norris is always in control. |

pen RPGs are awesome. And actualy there are systems that can be used for a ME adventure. Dn'D system wouldn't fit but there are others... and yeah it would be cool to have an officiall ME one. |

A PnP sourcebook for ME would rock. Few videogame universes can really support a PnP RPG but ME has a lot to offer. Either they could just do a sourcebook for an existing game like Gurps or Hero, or make up a new system. _________________ "You were just taking responsibility. Have to admit, I never really did the whole pnp thing even though my brother was a Dungeon Master, but I am intrigued... _________________ Shepard Lives! |

Source books can be a lot of fun on their own if you want world detail. I might buy it for that but I doubt I would get around to running it. The Dragon Age game seems a funny route. The box set thing has retro cool but a first principles RPG with that page count means there can't be that much setting detail and I would have thought the setting bible would be the resource being exploited. |
