Is anyone else getting problems with squadmates ignoring commands? (particularly the *hold* command)?
In some of the areas it seems necessary to tell your squad to hold position, whilst you snipe some enemies at long range, or simply to stay back where there are *bottlenecks* in tiny corridoors etc.
When I tell them to stay, they simply ignore the command , and insist on jumping right in fornt of you as you are trying to fire on the enemies.
Is anyone else finding this a real problem? its really starting to annoy me, as I have to endlessly quickload games becasue they simply wont get out of the way.
I have used *hold position* and have used the *Go* command to point behind me, but they just WONT stay back no matter what I do.
Is there some kind of hack that will render my sqaudmates completley immobile or something for a short while? since its clear that they arnt going to follow the squad commands.
Any help on this would be great.

Yes, they regularly refuse to stay put. Unfortunately, not much can be done about it. |

If you are indoors, try to close a door behind you so they are trapped in the room. |

Slightly old topic here but I just started playing ME and noticed the same problem. However when I order squad-mates to hold position via hot-key instead of the tactics HUD, they do in fact hold position until I call them. The other commands on the Tactics HUD work fine, it's just hold position that's broken.
I rebound my command hotkeys to,
Z - X - C and V
which works well - .... I put the movement speed toggle on the mouse wheel.Edited By Szoreny on 11/14/09 04:28 |
