OK. First off when get back to the Normandy after Eden Prime, Anderson says something along the lines of "Saren attacked Eden Prime for 1 purpose, he wants to destroy the entire human race". To which you have the option of replying "he wanted the beacon" then Anderson says "yeah, you're right".
However, once you're in front of the council Anderson says the same thing. Uhhhh, I thought we went through this already Anderson!
Another. If you explore most of the Citadel before the council meeting, there's a point right outside of the Citadel Tower where there's a Keeper and when you pass it Ashley says "what is that bug thing". But if you skip the elevator part when you're finally made a Spectre, Ashley says about the Salarian, "hey, what's he doing to the Keeper". And on top of it once you finally pass Avina, she still says "what's that bug thing".
Just irks me that the devs were too lazy to catch that. |

Actually, Anderson doesn't say that in front of the council, in fact, he doesn't say that all. He says after the council meeting that Saren is "working with the geth for one reason: To exterminate the entire race!" Which I assume is what you're referring to. But nothing in this sentence contradicts the fact that Saren attacked Eden Prime for the beacon, because at the time, everybody still thought that the beacon merely contained some kind of weapon information that Saren would use to exterminate humanity.
There is nothing wrong with what Anderson said. _________________ Check out my Mass Effect Movie in this topic, third post down:

You're right. I'm suing BioWare.
Two things that happen before you complete a plot world, and are tiny things in general. and like zanderde said, Everybody thought the beacon was a means of getting to the Conduit, which was thought to be a weapon.
You could find these in any long RPG but they aren't game-breaking. Besides, would you rather have 30 inconsistencies, or one game-ruining bug? *cough*carthglitch*cough |

Okay. What's this Carth glitch I keep hearing about? Go on, tell us. I've heard it mentioned quite often now, and seeing as how I do own the game, I'm clueless . |

From my understanding, in KotOR, there is a glitch in which Carth, a main character, if supposed to speak in a cutscene or something but he doesn't really do anything. Imagine it like this: Shepard is in the comm room after a mission, and some one just spoke to him, but there are no dialogue options and he just sits there while the music plays in the background and the camera just stays focused on him. And it didn't stop. |
