Okay, I was in the Mako going to Exo Geni Corps's HQ and had already talked to Lizabeth's mother. After I left their hide out I was back on the skyway and picked up radio chatter saying more or less, ''you owe us for that one. there's geth all over the skyway now.'' and ''we're out of here the package is on it's way'' and ''cut the comm the geth are here..."
The voice is a man's and doesn't sound like Jon (mispelled) back in the hideout with Lizabeth's mom.
Niether squad mate with me acknowledges this chatter. Is it just meant to be random chatter of other survivors that are killed by the geth and indicated by their last statement? Or is it some side quest I haven't found? |

It's not a side quest but I've always wondered who that is supposed to be as well. What is the "package" that is secured? - and who and where are those guys? It seems they are being attacked by Geth as you hear the final communications chatter but beyond that I dunno. |

On the upper level of the skyway to Exogeni headquarters (after talking to Jeong and company) there are doors that lead to hallways in the skyway itself. If you don't know they're there, it can be hard to spot them if you're just speeding along in the mako, but there are like 2 or 3 of them. In each one, you can kill a few geth troopers, and there are boxes of goodies to grab.
Look for them the next time you run thru Feros. It's not much, but there is extra loot there. |

If you're talking about the ones on the skyway itself, between the upper and lower "levels" of the road (the right side of the road is higher than the left, as you head to exogeni), then we're talking about the same ones. One of those hallways has human corpses in it. The radio chatter that was the original topic of this thread came from those dead guys. They apparently were leaving a package for smugglers (a guess, but a good one, given their conversation), but got caught by the geth. |

Aw. Darn.
Nevermind. I always thought of the doors as being on "the lower level" as they relate to the road, you see, not really taking into account that the second stretch of road is - in itself - an "upper level".

I had known about those tunnels - so the comm chatter is supposed to be the guys whose bodies you find when you enter those tunnels and kill the Geth? It always seemed "the package is secured, we're leaving now" comm chatter you hear was something more specific or important and the bodies in those tunnels don't seem to be freshly killed. But I guess that's what it must be, I certainly can't think of anything else. |

Yeah, I had similar thoughts later about Cerebus. Especially since you can get into some of the computer terminals at the Exogeni HQ which lead you to side quests involving Cerebus. It would be cool to see something involving the Thorian and/or Thorian Creepers in ME2 - even as a small side quest. Maybe if you save the colony you can go back in ME2 and there'll be something involving that transmission. That'd be a cool ''inside'' quest for veterans of the series.  |

I hadn't thought of that angle specifically, (interesting) but if fits with the feeling I get, which is that it always reminded me of some sort of commando group dropping into the middle of the Geth hotzone to extract either someone or something specific and then getting out quickly again. Even with the bodies you find in the third? catwalk, Maybe it was Cerberus. You just happen to by accident find a smugglers stash and shrug if off!
