I'm dis-gus-ted.
Cannot login, same "Error creating social site account"- doesn't matter what password, etc.
This is Total Incompetence.
Plain and simple.

Even if the extra crap doesn't drop until 2PM 11/3 or wtfe, should have zero effect on creating a f*cking social account.

The website at the moment isn't accepting anymore information other than retrieving info for you to view. So everyone is on hold. |

This is extremely frustrating. I really don't want to start the game without all of my addons....never seen this from a solid company like Bioware. And I have been playing Bioware games since I can remember....but then again, am I surprised since they merged with EA? Nope. Figured it was just a matter of time before something happened that pissed people off, and this is not a good start to my DA experience lol. I know it is a bit harsh, since I have been a fan of the company for years, but seriously, don't build something for the community and give us codes, and unlocks and make us go through all these steps and processes to unlock it....and have the site go down. At least give us a reason. |

This is rediculous.. Please fix this error. I don't get how i am stuck at the create an account screen if i already have an account here. Can someone explain? I am getting the same error everyone else is. |

No one can make anything at the moment as the website is not creating anything and it's only retrieving information. |

Simple when I mean it's not creating information I am saying that when you or anyone else trying to reply or create a post server (the SQL one) doesn't update that information. When I mean it's only retrieving I mean that you still see older post that's been around for awhile. If it wasn't retrieving it then it means that you don't see nothing at. Since the older version of what they are working is back up is working you can now post in it. See if making an account works. |

Sent an nice long rant to EA support. Nothing will get read, simply because I know a few people that work there, and they absolutely have the worst customer support around. I am just really surprised that Bioware is associated with this. This is not something you want to see on the first day of launch....not to mention this is not free content they are giving out. If it was free, it wouldn't be a big deal to me, but I paid for this. My money.... |

I was just now able to pass from step 3.
On the entry page i entered the login+password from the EA account. It redirected me to the login page as if the login+password pair were wrong.
In that login page i selected the option create an account. This redirected me to step 3 right away!
(talk about strange things...)
update:
Next i select update profile. This sends me to my profile page.
After that i select update my profile picture. This redirects me to the login page again.Edited By sandokas on 11/03/09 17:23 |

The new website will have been up and running for quite a while by the time BioWare releases their next game. I really don't think they'll have these problems at that stage.

This is awful.
I am stuck on step 2 (where you pick your pic).
My EA account info and my Bioware info are identical. I can log in to Bioware's forums, and I can log in at the EA forums, yet can't create a BSN account.
I just want to redeem the CE freebies. |

I am able to login perfectly now. The characters i have uploaded previously with the character creator don't appear on my profile though.
It's confirmed no step 2 erro anymore. |

I also can log in now. Just in time for the Americans to play 
I have been noticing a trend that if worldwide the game is same day launch aka all 3rd November, if there is a screw-up, the solution, or explanation, or patch usually gets released just in time for most normal USA players.
Since my country time zone is 12 hours in advance, I usually get 1 day of headaches with other "early birds"
But I am and I guess most of us are, still waiting for the official "we are sorry we screwed up" letter from EA and Bioware.
Wonder if they will be responsible enough to post one up....... |
