I picked the 220,000-credit option in Shepard's apartment and got a random Geth Pulse Rifle X. However, this particlular rifle has upgrade slots and better specs all-around than the HMWA VII. See screengrab comparing the rifle against a Pulse Rifle VIII salvaged from an enemy: Click Here

Your the first poster Ive seen that wasnt complaining about that weapon.. everyone else wanted it to be a moddable gethrifle with the same skin and sound... Its an awsome weapon when your below spectre X weapons |

I don't think you can *find* the special Pulse Rifle X in the game. You have to "embezzle" it as a random item for 220,000 credits through the computer terminal in Shepard's apartment.

I got one randomly in my invetory from missions. I dont like it though because of the design and power of it. Ill stick to the rifle I been using.

I noticed this too, they have the same accuracy as MSG, lower shots before overheat, by 3 I think, and 336 damage. They are fully automatic and use the tier one assault rifle model instead of the normal pulse rifle model. |

The weapon isn't that great. You can't give upgrades but its still fun to use. |

You weren't paying attention to the OP were you? He said he got one that was upgradable and he shows it in the picture.

The HMWA X is stronger than that. It's the only one I use. Note I said the HMWA X and not VII.
